The Next Step – Permission to Build?

At Tresargie Farm, the emerging growing project that will turn into the nuts and bolts of the business needs tools and materials storage, powered seed and cutting propagation space, rainwater collection and irrigation, and many other amenities that need a suitable place.

We have reached the stage when we can get rid of the temporary mobile structures like the shed, portacabin etc, and build a more in-keeping agricultural building to fulfil our needs. This has been selected and designed for minimal visual impact, and is no taller than a stable, with a green roof and sunken frame. The rainwater collected from the roof will be used to irrigate crops and is vital to the viability of growing produce or keeping livestock.

It will be sited on the other side of the fence, out of view and lowered.

So right now, there is a planning application that is in the system, waiting for approval or rejection. Approval will mean that I can create a more hidden, and in-keeping structure and get rid of the current temporary structures.

If you would like to improve the beauty of the surrounding area, please submit a comment of support so that we can remove the existing structures and build something that blends in perfectly.

Please click here  or go to http://planning.cornwall.gov.uk and search for PA16/07020  where you can submit a comment supporting the application if you wish. I’d appreciate any help with this, and am always available if you have any questions.

I am also erecting a fence and will move caravans etc to the other side whilst building to reduce the visual impact of the entire site. Many hundreds of plants and trees are constantly being planted that will become apparent as they grow, resulting in a rich, diverse environment that supports wildlife, the local community and the local economy. Please help us make this space something beautiful, functional, successful, by submitting a comment of support and helping a project in its infancy get off the ground.
